Braelon Roberts comes to Towson as the wide receivers coach for his first season in 2026.

Roberts comes to Towson after a year at the University of Maine as the wide receivers coach and pass game coordinator, helping the Black Bears to a 5-3 CAA season in 2025.  Wide receiver Scott Woods earned All-CAA Third Team with 55 catches and 653 yards that season.

He spent two seasons as the wide receivers coach and pass game coordinator at Bucknell University from 2023-25, coaching Eric Weatherly to All-Patriot League First Team in 2024 with 75 catches, 865 yards and eight touchdowns plus having the #1-passing offense in the Patriot League.  Previous to Maine, he was a graduate assistant wide receivers coach at Fresno State University for the 2022 season, helping with the development of two All-Mountain West wide receivers.

Roberts also was the wide receivers coach at Central Washington University in 2021 and Black Hills State University in 2020.  While at Central Washington, he coached Darius Morrison to be GNAC Freshman of the Year and First Team All-GNAC with 27 receptions, 609 yards and eight touchdowns.

As a student-athlete, Roberts was a three-year starting wide receiver at Utah State University, being elected a team captain and playing in 42 games.  He earned a rookie minicamp invite with the Oakland Raiders in 2018.

Roberts graduated from Utah State in 2017 with a degree in sociology, earning his Master's Degree from Fresno State in education in 2023.
