Conrad Mellin joined the Towson athletics department in June 2022 as a field turf manager.
Prior to joining Towson, Mellin worked for the Baltimore Orioles on the grounds crew where he was responsible for maintaining and preparing the field for game days from February 2020-June 2022.
Before his time with the Orioles, he worked at Bob Jackson Landscapes as a residential and commercial maintenance crew member during the summers of 2018 and 2019.
Mellin worked for the University of Maryland Golf Course from September 2017-May 2019 where he maintained the golf course grounds and the flower beds around the club house.
From June - August 2017 Mellin worked for Hillendale Country Club as an intern for the golf course. During his time here he assisted the horticulturalist, superintendent, and assistant superintendent with any necessary tasks. Â He also installed two flower beds on the golf course.
Mellin graduated from the University of Maryland in 2018 with a degree in landscape management. He is a member of the Mid-Atlantic Sports Turf Managers Association (MASTMA).
