Blake Costalupes joined Towson Athletics in 2023 as a behavioral health coordinator.
Costalupes comes to Towson from West Virginia University where he was a mental performance consultant from August 2019-22. In this position, he provided psychological consultation for the student athletes and coaches of two teams in individual and group formats.
In August 2021, Costalupes became an athletic counselor intern for Waynesburg University, where he provided psychological support for all athletic programs and conducted workshops and presentations for teams.
From January 2018-22, Costalupes was a mental performance consultant for Fresno State athletics, where he provided mental skill training and development to student athletes and coaches.
Costalupes graduated from Fresno State in December 2015 with a B.S. in Kinesiology/exercise science. He received his M.A. from Fresno State in May 2018 in Kinesiology/sports psychology. In December 2022, Costalupes received his M.A. in clinical mental health counseling from West Virginia University (WVU). He graduated from WVU in May 2023, completing his Ph.D. in Sport, Exercise, and Performance Psychology.
