Dr. Faizan Imtiaz is an Assistant Professor of Organizational Psychology at Towson University and serves as the sport psychologist for the athletics department.

His research interests include individual and team resilience, organizational culture, and group dynamics. His teaching portfolio includes work at both the graduate and undergraduate level, and across a diverse range of topics including Resilience and Well-being, Leadership, and Organizational Behavior. His industry experience aims to bridge the gap between cutting-edge research in applied psychology and how it can be applied to enhance performance and productivity at the individual and team level. This includes work with a diverse range of individuals from both the public and private sectors, and across a wide range of domains including sport, business, the armed forces and academia.

Dr. Imtiaz received his Ph.D. in Psychology from Queen’s University, where he also completed his M.Sc. in Sport Psychology. Prior to that, he completed a B.Sc. at McMaster University.
