Jason Smith joined Towson Athletics as an assistant director of facilities management in June 2024.
Smith returns to Towson in his new role after working as an intern since January 2021. As a part of his athletic facilities lead building manager internship, he managed all indoor and outdoor athletic facilities, led a team of building managers and interns, and assisted in the creation of maintenance and game operation plans.
Prior to Towson, he worked various positions for Columbia Association, including gym attendant and lifeguard. Smith oversaw the maintenance and operation of equipment in the facility.
Smith graduated from Towson University in May 2024 with a sports management degree, while minoring in business administration and marketing. He is pursuing his Master’s Degree in Management Studies from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at University of Maryland.
