Towson University Athletics

Kaleb Lewis joined Towson as the head campus turf manager in March 2020. His duties and responsibilities include managing the Towson Athletics fields to ensure a safe and playable surface for the Towson student-athletes. 

Prior to joining Towson’s staff, Lewis was the grounds superintendent at Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU) in Fort Myers, Fla. Previously, he served as the assistant sport turf manager at the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) and worked on the grounds crew for the Baltimore Orioles for two seasons.

Lewis earned a Bachelor of Science degree in plant science from the University of Florida in 2017. He also worked as a student for the University Athletic Association grounds crew at Florida.

Originally from Pensacola, Fla., Lewis now resides in Baltimore.
