Saunders joined the Towson athletics department as a sports nutrition assistant in 2025.
Kelsey currently works as the varsity field hockey head coach at Towson High School where she organizes team plans and game strategies.
She interned at Towson and Queens University, working for their sports nutrition teams. She provided athletes with nutritional support and information and worked with sports dietitians to help with recovery and injuries for athletes.
She worked as a clinical student at Holy Cross Hospital where she helped patients through gathering information and providing nutritional advice. While at the hospital she helped determine diagnosis and progress made by patients.
Saunders graduated from Queens with a Bachelor of Science as an exercise science major.
