Mike Edison returned to his alma mater as a volunteer assistant coach at the start of the 2024 spring season.
Edison’s collegiate tennis career began at Towson, where he played for the Tigers for two seasons (2002 – 2004). He played No. 1 doubles and was in the middle of the lineup in singles. He played his final two seasons at Washington College (2004 – 2006), helping the Shoremen reach the NCAA Tournament both years. As a senior, Mike was 15-9 in singles and compiled a 15-8 record in doubles.
He went on to play professional beach tennis for Team USA and was ranked #1 from 2009-2011.
Prior to Towson, Edison was the assistant tennis director at Countryside Country Club and Director of Tennis at Darnestown Swim and Racquet.
A fulltime medical sales professional, Mike and his wife, Liz, have two daughters.
