TOWSON, Md. - Former Tiger midfielder Brock Armour, '10 was drafted by the Boston Blazers in the fourth round of the 2010 National Lacrosse League Entry Draft, which was held on Wednesday evening.
Armour, who was drafted with the 36th overall pick, becomes the 14th player in Towson history to be drafted in the NLL Entry Draft.
"Brock Armour has the skill set and potential to be a successful player in the National Lacrosse League," Towson Coach Tony Seaman said. "His playing experience at the collegiate level combined with his playing time in Canada make him an excellent draft choice."
A four-year letter winner for the Tigers, Armour played in 52 career games and scored 15 goals with 19 assists. As a senior, he played in all 15 games and scored four goals with ten assists.
During his junior season, the Victoria, British Columbia, Canada native scored eight goals with eight assists. He recorded a career-high three goals with an assist against Air Force.
He played in 23 games during his freshman and sophomore seasons.
