Good morning Tiger Nation and welcome to the Morning Roar.
Let's Unleash the
Roar
The @Towson_MLAX
and @Towson_WLAX staffs are
joining together to host the inaugural
Lacrosse 101 clinic on Jan. 24 at the Towson Center. Attendees will be
served light food, beer and wine and also receive a t-shirt as well as two
tickets to any home lacrosse game this upcoming season.
Sticking with @Towson_MLAX,
Towson Sports Network's Jason Layer had a chance to catch up with head coach
Shawn Nadelen to see how
his team is gearing up for the holidays.
Layer also had a chance to stop by the Burdick Pool and chat
with @Towson_SWIMDIVE head
coach Pat Mead and talk about how his teams plan to emerge victorious from their last meet of the winter season.
@Towson_GYM
has added
two talented recruits who have signed National Letters of Intent. Bailey
Gallagher of West Lawn, Pa. and Bridget Steffen of Chesapeake, Va. will join
head coach Vicki Chliszczyk and the Tigers next year.
On Wednesday I had the chance to catch up with Chliszczyk
and see
how the team is gearing up for its first meet against William & Mary on
Jan. 12.
Hardwood Talk
After a one-day break, @Towson_WBB will be back in action
today when Delaware
State comes to the Towson Center. Delaware State enters the game 2-7
overall and is currently on a four-game losing streak after falling to South
Dakota State on Tuesday. The Lady Hornets are lead by Tierra Hawkins who
averages 17.3 points per game. After Friday, the Tigers will have a break for
the holidays before returning to action on Sunday, Dec. 30 at home against
Maine.
Yesterday, I had a chance to catch up with @Towson_MBB assistant coach Kevin Clark to
talk to him about the loss against Coppin State and how the Tigers are gearing up for
Oregon State after the holiday.
Thanks for reading another edition of the Morning Roar. Be
sure to check back the same time tomorrow for more. Also, follow me on twitter, Zach Maskavich">@ZachMaskavich.
