Four Towson Football Games, Three Volleyball Matches to be Televised on Monumental Sports Network

TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University athletics department today announced an agreement with Monumental Sports Network (MNMT) to broadcast Tiger football and volleyball contests during the 2025 season. For the third consecutive season, four of the five Towson home football games will be televised on the network as well as matches featuring the Tigers volleyball team.

As a member of the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA), all regular season games Towson produces will air exclusively on FloSports digital with member institutions retaining rights to local linear television distribution.

Monumental Sports Network is wholly owned and operated by Monumental Sports & Entertainment (MSE). The network holds exclusive local television media rights for the NHL's Washington Capitals, NBA's Washington Wizards and WNBA's Washington Mystics games. MNMT is also the TV and digital home to the NBA G League's Capital City Go-Go and the NBA 2K League's Wizards District Gaming as well as exclusive behind-the-scenes content and original sports and entertainment programming. The network also boasts the most comprehensive regional high school and collegiate sports programming in the greater Washington D.C. metro area. For more, visit monumentalplus.com.

The relationship between Towson and MNMT began during the 2022-23 season when six men's basketball games were broadcast. In 2023-24, there were 19 games televised on Monumental, featuring the Towson football, volleyball, men's basketball and women's basketball teams. In 2024-25, men's lacrosse games were added to the lineup, bringing the number of games televised on Monumental to 22.

"We continuable to be extremely grateful for our relationship with Monumental Sports Network and their continued support of Towson Athletics through the extension of this important relationship,"  Towson Director of Athletics Steve Eigenbrot said. "The regional visibility provided by our broadcasts on Monumental is a critical part of our efforts to ensure that our Tiger student-athletes are driving a more comprehensive understanding of the amazing things that are happening at Towson University.

The football broadcasts will begin with the home opener at Johnny Unitas® Stadium versus Youngstown State (Sept. 20) and continue with CAA matchups versus Elon (Oct. 4), Monmouth (Oct. 11) and Villanova (Nov. 8).
