TOWSON,
Md. – A
restaurant noted for its Caribbean cuisine, Bahama Breeze, has agreed to become
a sponsor for Towson University athletics, it has been announced by Director of
Athletics Mike Waddell and Peter C. Oliveri, the General Manager
of Towson Sports Properties.
“We are thrilled that Bahama Breeze has become one of our first time sponsors,”
says Oliveri. “A sponsorship like
this makes such a tremendous impact on the future of athletics here at Towson. We look forward
to working with Bahama Breeze and appreciate all of their support.”
As part of its
sponsorship, Bahama Breeze will support the Tiger gymnastics program and the
Tiger softball program.
At each of the
Tigers' home gymnastics meets in the Towson
Center, fans will receive
a coupon courtesy of Bahama Breeze. In addition, Bahama Breeze will provide
prizes for crowd members any time a Tiger gymnast earns a 9.70 score or higher.
At softball
games, Bahama Breeze will be sponsoring an Out of the Park promotion. For every
home run that the Tigers hit, fans will receive a coupon for Bahama Breeze.
Bahama Breeze
will also sponsor the Bongo Cam at all Tiger men's lacrosse games in Johnny
Unitas® Stadium.
