HARRISONBURG, Va. – Towson University freshman
Emilee Woodall earned her first start in goal on Sunday afternoon but it was not enough as the Tigers (2-8, 0-2) fell to James Madison (7-3, 1-1) by a score of 8-0.

James Madison got on the board early in the first half as they scored three goals in the first nine minutes. The Dukes tallied another goal in the 16th minute to take a 4-0 lead into halftime.

Kelsey Jenkens recorded the only shot for Towson in the first half as the Dukes held a 14-1 shot advantage. Woodall recorded five first-half saves for the Tigers.

James Madison scored four goals in the second half to finish the game with an 8-0 lead. The Duke's
Taylor West recorded a hat trick on the day.

The Dukes outshot the Tigers 22-0 in the second half to finish the game with a 36-1 advantage.

Woodall had nine second-half saves to finish the game with a total of 14 saves.
Sara Kraeutler recorded one save to earn the win for the James Madison.

The Tigers will return to action on Friday, Oct. 10 as they travel to Columbia for a 3 p.m. game.
