WHEN: Saturday, November 8, 2014 -- Kickoff at 7:00 p.m.
WHERE: Villanova Stadium (12,000) -- Villanova, Pa.
TV: American Sports Network (Dave Armstrong, Micheal Young)
RADIO: CBS Sports Radio 1300 (Spiro Morekas, Ron Meehan)

STORYLINES
•Towson has won its last two games and is seeking its first three-game winning streak of the season. The Tigers are no strangers to winning streaks as they opened the 2013 season by winning their first six games and won five games in a row later in the year before falling in the FCS National Championship game.
•The Tigers have won 14 of their last 16 road games and eight of their last nine CAA games away from home.
•Towson is 21-8 in CAA play over the last four seasons.
•The last time these squads met at Villanova was October 27, 2012 and Towson pulled out a 49-35 win.
•Sophomore running back Darius Victor is averaging 117.7 yards per game in his last seven outings. He's rushed for 100 or more yards in five of his last seven games, including a 153-yard performance in Towson's win over Elon last week.
•First-year starting quarterback Connor Frazier has thrown more touchdown passes in his last two games (4) than in his first seven games combined (3). He's set career-highs in passing yards in each of his last two games.

The Series
•Saturday will be the 11th all-time meeting between Towson and Villanova.
•The squads have met every year since 2004 when both were members of the Atlantic 10.
•The road team has won each of the last two meetings.

Recipe For Success
•There are four common factors in each of Towson's three wins this season.
•The Tigers are 4-1 this year when they gain more yards than their opponent. Towson outgained Elon in its last game, 388-276.
•Towson has also scored at least 20 points and held its opponent under 30 points in each win this season.
•Lastly, Towson has had a 100-yard rusher in each victory this season.

Sensational Sophomore
•Sophomore running back Darius Victor leads the CAA in rushing TDs (9), rushing yards (950) and rushing yards per game (105.6).
•Victor is tied with Albany's Omar Osbourne for most 100-yard rushing games in the CAA.
•Victor is just 101 yards away from outperforming his predecessor, Terrance West, who rushed for 1,051 yards in his sophomore campaign.
•Victor's 194-yard rushing performance against North Carolina Central is the second most by a CAA player in a game this season.

Success Against Ranked Foes
•No. 7 Villanova is the first ranked team that Towson has faced this season.
•Since beating then-No. 19 Villanova on the road in 2012, Towson has gone 8-3 against ranked opponents with seven of those eight wins coming away from home.

Victor Climbing the Ladder
•Entering Saturday, Victor has 1,579 career rushing yards, ranking him 12th all-time at Towson. The sophomore is just 39 yards behind Paul Cillo for 11th place and 79 yards away from cracking the top-10.

FCS & CAA Rankings
•Towson leads the CAA and ranks fifth nationally in the FCS in punt return average (18.5 yards per return).
•The Tigers rank second in the CAA and sixth in the FCS by allowing just 17.0 yards per kickoff return.
•Towson boasts the fourth-best rushing attack in the CAA at 165.4 yards per game.
•Senior Derrick Joseph leads the CAA and ranks 10th nationally with 706 combined kickoff and punt return yards this season. His 22.4 yards per kickoff return ranks third among CAA players. Joseph also ran a punt back 81 yards for a touchdown at Delaware State.
•Sophomore running back Darius Victor leads the CAA in rushing TDs (9), rushing yards (950) and rushing yards per game (105.6). He needs just 50 yards to become the ninth player in Towson history to reach 1,000 rushing yards in a single season.
•Junior Donnell Lewis ranks fourth in the CAA by averaging 5.1 solo tackles per game. His 15 total tackles at West Virginia are tied for the fourth most tackles in a game by a CAA player this season.
•Senior Drew Cheripko ranks second in the CAA and third in the FCS with three fumble recoveries on the year.

Delaire Earns Another Honor
•Senior defensive end Ryan Delaire was named to the College Football Performance Awards watch list for the FCS National Defensive Performer of the Year on Wednesday.
•Delaire leads the CAA and ranks seventh in the FCS with 10 sacks this season. The 2013 first team All-CAA selection is just eight sacks shy of Towson's single season school record for sacks in a season (18).
•He also leads the CAA in tackles among ends/lineman (10.0), ranks fifth in the league in tackles for loss (13.5) and is tied for sixth in forced fumbles (3).

Tigers in the NFL
•At one point this summer, seven former Towson football players were in an NFL camp. Two-time Pro Bowl offensive lineman Jermon Bushrod of the Chicago Bears, rookie running back Terrance West of the Cleveland Browns and second-year safety Jordan Dangerfield remain on NFL rosters.
•Bushrod, who was named to the Pro Bowl in 2011 and 2012 as a member of the New Orleans Saints, is now in his second season with the Bears. He started 62 of 66 games played in six seasons (2007-12) at left tackle for the Saints. During his time in New Orleans, the Saints offense allowed just 96 sacks, tied for fewest in the NFL.
•West was selected by the Cleveland Browns in the third round of the 2014 NFL Draft. He was the sixth running back taken and the 94th overall selection. West is the fifth Towson football player to be drafted and the highest selection. West rushed for 100 yards against the Steelers in his first NFL game and has scored three TDs on the year.
•Dangerfield was signed to the Pittsburgh Steelers practice squad on Wednesday. He signed with the Buffalo Bills as an undrafted free agent in 2013.
