ROUND TWO TEE TIMESWILLIAMSBURG, Va. -- The Towson women's golf team sits in a tie for fourth-place after one round of play at the William & Mary Fall Invitational, which got underway on Sunday afternoon at the par 72, 5,948-yard Kingsmill Resort Plantation Course.
All five Tigers shot in the 70's during the opening round of play. Towson (309) is tied with William & Mary (309) after Sunday's round. Elon (300) leads the 13-team field with Appalachian State (307) and Morehead State (307) also currently among the Top 5 teams.
Junior
Krissy Unger is tied for 13th-place overall in the 90-player field after carding an opening round 76. Junior
Larissa Spiess and sophomore
Stephanie Bosdosh are just a stroke behind Unger in a tie for 16th-place after posting 77's on Sunday. Freshmen
Mackenzie Rice and
Alexis Hios posted opening round 79's and are tied for 32nd-place.
The 54-hole tournament continues on Monday with tee times starting at 7:45 a.m.
