TOWSON, Md. – The Towson women's swimming and diving program continues its dual meet season at Georgetown on Saturday, Oct. 17. The meet is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. at the Albert G. McCarthy, Jr. Pool. Diving events will take place at 11 a.m.
Towson is currently ranked 27th in the CollegeSwimming.com's Division I Team Power Rankings. The Tigers are third in the Mid-Major Rankings, behind Florida Gulf Coast and San Diego State.
This will be the Tigers' second time swimming against the Hoyas this season. The two teams saw each other at the Potomac Relays with the Tigers winning the meet and the Hoyas rounding out the teams in fourth-place.
The Tigers are coming off a dual meet loss to Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) rival William & Mary (152-110) last weekend. The Tigers won five events and had 18 top-three event finishes against the Tribe.
Junior
Macey Arnold was impressive in the freestyle events, winning the 200, 500 and 1000-yard freestyles. Senior
Jenna Van Camp won both the 100 and 200-yard breaststrokes. Senior
Charlotte Holz rounded out the event victories, taking first-place in the 200-yard individual medley.
Towson continues its dual meet season at George Mason with CAA foes Drexel and Northeastern in a two-day meet from Oct. 30-31.
