TOWSON, Md. Towson University women's swimmer Addie Scott and women's diver Lara Booth Alam have been named Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) Co-Women's Swimmer of the Week and CAA Women's Diver of the Week respectively, the CAA announced Tuesday.
 
Addie Scott earns her second weekly honor in as many weeks and fifth of her career after winning heats in five different events at Towson's dual meets against Georgetown and La Salle over the weekend. Against the Hoyas, Scott won the 200 freestyle (1:50.13) and 200 backstroke (2:01.77) while also placing second in the 400 medley relay. The next day against La Salle, the senior won the 50 freestyle (24.56), 100 freestyle (52.48), and 1000 freestyle (10:23.16) while also winning the 400 free relay. Scott has won eight individual events through three meets to begin the season.
 
Lara Booth Alam earns her first career weekly award after placing in the top three in all four diving events she competed in against Georgetown and La Salle. Booth Alam also claimed her first two dual meet event wins over her Towson career. The junior swept the boards to clinch the win against the Hoyas scoring 244.28 on the 3 meter board and 231.98 in the 1 meter. Against the Explorers, Booth Alam placed second on the 3 meter dive (256.05) and third on the 1 meter dive (244.65).
 
The Tigers are back in action October 23-25 for the annual Thomas Murphy Invite hosted by Loyola.
