TOWSON, Md. – Despite a scoreless first half and 14 saves by goalkeeper
Emilee Woodall, Towson fell to La Salle 3-0 on Sunday afternoon. The Explorers used three second-half goals to earn the victory over the Tigers.

HOW IT HAPPENED- Despite La Salle (7-7) outshooting Towson (2-12) 11-0 in the first half, both teams were held scoreless. Towson goalkeeper Emilee Woodall recorded six first-half saves for the Tigers.
- The Explorers game out quick in the second-half, getting on the board in the 35th minute with an unassisted goal by Kendall Kreider.
- La Salle added its second goal in the 50th minute as Katie O'Grady successfully converted a penalty stroke.
- Sophomore Morgan Lowry recorded her first defensive save of the season in the 57th minute, denying Jess Hoffman of a scoring opportunity.
- Towson was awarded a penalty stroke in the 60th minute but senior Stacey Mackintosh was unable to get the ball past goalkeeper Rachel Hartman.
- La Salle tallied its final goal of the game in the 67th minute as Abbey Lawrence scored unassisted.
- Towson posted nine shots in the second half, forcing Hartman to make six saves. Woodall added eight second-half saves for a game total of 14.
- The Explorers held a 14-2 advantage over the Tigers in penalty corner opportunities but both teams were unable to convert any chances.
The Tigers will wrap up their four-game road trip at Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) rival No. 15 Delaware on Friday, Oct. 23 at 6 p.m. and No. 7 Maryland on Sunday, Oct. 25 at 1 p.m.
