TOWSON, Md. – Despite a pair of goals from junior
Allie Stauffer, the Tigers fell to Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) rival Northeastern 6-3 on Friday evening. The game was the Tigers' final home game of the season as team's three seniors were honored prior to the game.

HOW IT HAPPENED - Northeastern took an early 2-0 lead over Towson. Vanessa Pryor scored in the 10th minute from Kristin Abreu off of a penalty corner opportunity. The Huskies' second goal came six minutes later as June Curry-Lindahl tallied an unassisted goal.
- Towson junior Megan Boyle started in goal for the Tigers and made two saves. Sophomore Emilee Woodall replaced Boyle in the 17th minute.
- The Huskies added two goals in just over a minute of play to end the second-half with a four goal lead. Pryor notched her second goal of the game in the 25th minute unassisted while Mia Martin followed 1:03 later off a pass from Kellie Stigas.
- Towson senior Heather Jenney kept the Huskies from holding a 5-1 lead in the first half as she made an impressive defensive save in the 25th minute, denying Cury-Lindahl.
- Junior Allie Stauffer got the Tigers on the board in the 28th minute, scoring on a rebound after a penalty corner opportunity.
- Northeastern outshot the Tigers 19-2 in the first half and held a 6-1 advantage in penalty corner opportunities.
- Woodall made six first-half saves for the Tigers while the Huskies' goalkeeper Becky Garner was only forced to make one save.
- Towson came out strong in the second half, scoring two unanswered goals in a 15 minute span. Junior Morgan Skavdahl scored in the 40th minute unassisted while Stauffer tallied her second of the game on a pass from senior Stacey Mackintosh in the 55th minute.
- Despite making it a one goal game, the Tigers were unable sustain their offensive pressure and Northeastern used two late goals to finish the game with a three-goal lead. Curry-Lindahl scored her second goal in the 57th minute while Martin tallied her second of the game three minutes later. Abbey MacLellan picked up the assist on the Huskies' final goal.
- The Huskies outshot the Tigers 30-6 and held a final 8-3 advantage in penalty corner opportunities. Woodall added seven second-half saves for the Tigers to finish the game with 12. Garner added one save in the second-half.
