FAIRFAX, Va. – The Towson women's swimming and diving program had seven top-three finishes and won three events during the first session of the George Mason POD Meet that also features Drexel and Northeastern.

HOW IT HAPPENED- Charlotte Holz won the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 2:06.05. Sara Lacusky finished fifth in the event, timing 2:12.75.
- The Tigers swept the 1650-yard freestyle, winning first through third-place. Ashley Illenye won the event in 17:07.73, followed by Hannah Snyder (17:10.56) and Macey Arnold (17:21.88).
- The relay team of Natalie Obando, Jenna Van Camp, Tara Goss and Holz earned a victory in the 400-yard medley relay (3:51.19).
- Jacy Icard took fifth-place in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 24.73.
- The Tigers placed third and fifth in the 200-yard freestyle relay. The relay team of Icard, Ryan Ulrich, Arnold and Kara Powell combined for a time of 1:38.21. The relay team of Melissa Toy, Caitlin Manthe, Tasha Reidenbach and Haley Sutton timed 1:39.19.
- Towson finished third and fourth in the three-meter diving event. Molly Arceri placed third with a score of 266.25, followed by Hannah Ostrem (240.00).
