GOLD RUSH
Monday's home opener is the annual Gold Rush game.  All fans are encouraged to wear gold to cheer on the Tigers.

Story Lines
Towson will play its 2015-16 home opener when it welcomes Morgan State to SECU Arena Monday evening.

It marks the second-straight season the Tigers and Bears will meet in the second game of the season.

Last season, Towson defeated Morgan State 51-46.

Towson has won back-to-back games in the series.  The all-time series is now tied 13-13.

The Tigers are coming off a tough 78-76 loss in the season opener at La Salle.

Arnaud William Adala Moto scored 28 points to lead the Tigers.

The 28 points ties Gary Neal (2005) for the most points scored in a Towson debut.

Neal will be in attendance for Monday night's home opener.

Sophomore's Mike Morsell and Byron Hawkins each added 13 points.

Walter Foster did not score in the game, but pulled down 12 rebounds.

Towson welcomes Morgan State to SECU Arena for the 2015 home opener.  Tipoff is set for 7 p.m.

Monday's game can be heard live on CBS Sports Radio 1300.  Spiro Morekas will provide the play-by-play.

Head Coach Pat Skerry can be heard on 10.5.7 the Fan every Tuesday at 12:25 during the 2015-16 season.  Skerry will talk with Vinny and Rob and everything Towson basketball.

Home Openers
Towson is 28-8 in home openers dating back to the 1958-59 season.

Head Coach Pat Skerry is 2-2 in home openers in his tenure at Towson.  He was won the previous two home openers.

vs. Morgan State
The Tigers and Bears are meeting for the 27th time on the hardwood.  Towson has won the previous two meetings to even the series 13-13.  The Tigers are 10-3 in games played in Towson.

vs. the MEAC
Monday's game is the first of two contests this month against teams from the MEAC.  The Tigers are 40-33 all-time against the MEAC.

What a Debut
Junior Arnaud William Adala Moto had one of the most impressive debuts in a Towson uniform.  The junior scored 28 points against La Salle and tied Gary Neal (2005) for the most points scored in their Towson debut.

Points in an Opener
The 28 points scored by Arnaud William Adala Moto in the season opener are the most points ever scored by a Towson Tiger in a season debut.

Foster Crashes the Boards
Junior Walter Foster controlled the glass in the season opener as he pulled down a game-high 12 rebounds, including five on the offensive end.  The total is just one shy of his career high set against James Madison a season ago.

Tigers Hit Offensive Glass
The Tigers picked up where they left off last year when they crashed the offensive glass and pulled down 19 offensive rebounds against La Salle.  Walter Foster led the way with five, while John Davis pulled down four, and Timajh Parker-Rivera and Arnaud William Adala Moto each had three.

2015 Gildan Charleston Classic
Towson will participate in the 2015 Gildan Charleston Classic Nov. 19-20, 22.  The Tigers will open the tournament against Oklahoma State, then face either Ole Miss or George Mason in the second round.

Battle for Greater Baltimore
Towson will look to control the area as they play four games in a Battle for Greater Baltimore.  The Tigers will host Morgan State on Nov. 16, before traveling to face Coppin State (Nov. 28) and Loyola (Dec. 8).  Towson closes out the four game by hosting UMBC on Dec. 23.

Up Next
The Tigers hit the road for the Gildan Charleston Classic.  Towson opens the tournament against Oklahoma State Nov. 19 at 2 p.m.  The Tigers will take on either Ole Miss or George Mason in the second round.
