WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Towson made a big run in the second half to pull within five points, but William & Mary closed the game on a 10-0 run for a 65-50 victory Wednesday evening at Kaplan Arena. 
The Tribe (18-10, 12-5 CAA) started where they left off in the first half and pushed their advantage to 23 points with 14:50 remaining.  
That seemed to wake up the Tigers (12-18, 5-12 CAA) as they began their run with an 
Alex Gavrilovic three pointer.  The sparked a 16-6 run brought the Tigers within 51-41 on 
Four McGlynn three-pointer from the top of the key. 
Towson continued to claw back and 
Timajh Parker-Rivera followed an 
Eddie Keith II basket in the paint with a pair of free throws.  After Terry Tarpey, who had a game-high 24 points, scored to give the Tribe and eight-point lead, McGlynn knocked down his third three-pointer of the half to pull Towson to within 55-50 with 3:28 to play. 
The Tribe made sure the game did not get any closer as scored the final 10 points of the game for the 15-point victory. 
The Tigers came out strong in the first half as they hit five of their first seven shots and opened an 11-6 lead 2:50 into the game.  The remainder of the half saw the Tigers go 0-for-26 from the field and allow the Tribe to use a 22-4 run to take a 28-15 lead into the half. 
Towson erased the first-half shooting problems to shoot 12-of-24 (50.0%) in the second half.  The Tigers also hit 4-of-10 from beyond the arc in the final 20 minutes. 
McGlynn led the Tigers offense with 13 points.  
Byron Hawkins added nine points, 
John Davis eight and 
Mike Morsell seven.  Davis, Parker-Rivera and Gavrilovic each had six rebounds as the Tigers outrebounded the Tribe 42-30. 
Towson closes out the regular season Saturday afternoon as they welcome Delaware to SECU Arena.  Tipoff set for 2 p.m.  Prior to the game, the Tigers will honor seniors 
Jamel Flash and 
Alex Gavrilovic.
