TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University women's tennis team will travel to George Mason on Friday, Feb. 27 for a 5:30 p.m. match against the Patriots. It will take place at the Springfield Golf & Country Club in Springfield, Va.

The match was orginially set for Saturday, Feb. 22 at 4 p.m. before it was postponed due to inclement weather in the area.
 
The Tigers (4-4, 0-1 Colonial Athletic Association) will look to rebound after a tough 5-2 loss at Georgetown last week. Towson grabbed its two points in singles play as freshmen A.J. Gomer and Nicole Shakhnazarova earned victories. The doubles pairing of senior Cailey Easdale and freshman Barbora Vasilkova also recorded a win but it was not enough as the Hoyas won two of the three matches to secure the doubles point.

Towson will travel to Howard for a mid-week match at Howard on Tuesday, March 3 at 2 p.m. The Tigers will return home on Saturday, March 7 to host Marist for their spring season home-opener at 12 noon.
