QUOTABLE- "I thought this week in the practice gym, we just focused on us and not on Delaware," said Towson head coach Don Metil. "The first time we watched film on Delaware was on the way up here on the bus. We are own worst enemy and our own best friend. Even at JMU, we faltered and let that match slip away. Our serve receive passing was 100 times better and it was nice to see our outsides perform at a high level."
- "Jess is starting to play at the caliber I knew she could," said Metil. "She's a threat on the outside and for her to post 26 kills is right where we thought she could be. With the loss of Saitaua Iosia and Victoria Williams, it's nice to have people step up and make a dangerous team."
- "During the match we kept talking to Anna and we know she can get more digs, she just got caught out of position a couple of times," remarked Metil. "She is an exciting player and I'm glad we have her for three more years."
- "Haley's confidence stems for her ability to succeed in pass serve and she did it well today," said Metil. "She's a silent assassin and it's nice to see her get another double-double."

Lewis had 26 kills and 12 digs for her second straight double-double and third of the year. Senior Kyana Miller added 20 assists and 14 digs for her third double-double of the year.
- Holehouse's 30 digs marked the 15th time in school history a player has recorded 30 or more digs in a single-match. She is the ninth player to reach the mark.
- The Tigers won their fourth straight match against the Blue Hens.
The Tigers are back in action on Friday, Oct. 2 when they travel to William & Mary for a 7 p.m. match.
