Foster Collects Double-Double In Setback to Hofstra

TOWSON, Md. – Walter Foster collected his third double-double of the season and the sixth of his career during a 90-58 setback to Hofstra in its Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) home opener Saturday night. Also reaching double figures for the Tigers (10-5 overall, 1-1 CAA) were William Adala Moto and Mike Morsell.

  • The CAA preseason favorite Pride shot 50.9 percent for the game.
  • John Davis scored a layup to give Towson its last lead of the first half, 8-7, with 16:28 remaining.
  • William Adala Moto and Mike Morsell combined for 17 first half points.
  • Adala Moto had a pair of dunks in the opening 20 minutes.
  • Foster energized the Tigers with six points and six rebounds in the first half.
  • Hofstra finished the first half on a 14-4 run to take a 45-29 halftime advantage.
  • The Pride shot 53 percent in the opening half while Towson connected at a 32.4 percent clip.
