Seven straight points from the visitors gave Towson a 43-39 lead with 1:31 left in the stanza. Freshman guard Sianni Martin had five of the Tigers' seven during that run. Four straight points from Darius Falk allowed Hofstra to tie the game at 43-43 after three.
  • Towson scored five of the third eight points in the fourth quarter and led 48-46 with 7:56 to play. Jackson connected on three straight shots from the foul line with 6:04 left on the clock that started that crucial game ending run. The Pride used runs of six and eight straight points and took a 60-50 lead with 2:54 to play. The two teams traded baskets as Bankston's triple with 16 seconds to play made it a 63-57 game in favor of the home team.
