Story Lines
The Tigers step out of conference for the final time as they travel to face Dartmouth.  Kickoff is set for 1:30 p.m.  The game is the first meeting against the Big Green.

The contest marks the first time the Tigers have played a non-conference game in the month of October since taking on Maryland on October 1, 2011.  It is just the second time since Towson joined the Colonial Athletic Association in 2007 they have played a non-conference game afte the month of September.

The Tigers are just 3-6 against teams from the Ivy League.  The last meeting against a team from the Ivy League happened in 2010, a 24-10 loss to Columbia.

Redshirt freshman Shane Simpson made his first start of his career against Stony Brook.  He finished the game with 13 carries for 76 yards.  Fellow freshman Deshaun Wethington added 13 carries for 67 yards.

Towson hits the road for its final non-conference game of the season as they travel to face Dartmouth.  Kickoff is set for 1:30 p.m.

The Tigers contest at Richmond can be heard live on CBS Sports Radio 1300.  The voice of the Tigers, Spiro Morekas, will once again be joined by Gordy Combs to call the action.

The weather for Saturday is calling for partly cloudy skies with temperatures reaching the upper 50s.  

vs. Dartmouth
The Tigers and Big Green are meeting for the first time on the gridiron.  Dartmouth is the fifth team the Tigers have played from the Ivy League.

vs. the Ivy League
The Tigers are playing their 10th game against a team from the Ivy League.  Towson is just 3-6 in the previous nine games.

New Hampshire Swing
The Tigers are entering the New Hampshire portion of their schedule as they travel to Dartmouth (Oct. 15) and play host to New Hampshire (Oct. 22).  

Simpson's First Start
Redshirt freshman Shane Simpson made his first career start against Stony Brook.  Simpson carried the ball a career-high 13 times for 76 yards, including a 31-yard run.

Freshman Backfield
The Tigers utilized an all freshman backfield as redshirt freshman Shane Simpson and true freshman Deshaun Wethington each had 13 carries against Stony Brook.  The duo combined for 143 yards on 26 carries.

O'Neill Inside 50 Yards
Freshman kicker Aidan O'Neill connected on a pair of field goals against Stony Brook.  He is now 6-for-6 on field goal attempts inside 50 yards.

Summers Big Plays
Wide receiver Christian Summers only had three catches against Stony Brook.  But, those three catches resulted in 98 receiving yards.  The 32.7 yards per reception is second to the 38.7 yards per reception he had against Saint Francis.  In two home games this season, Summers has nine catches for 330 yards.

Gallahan Has Big Day
Sam Gallahan had his best day as a Towson Tiger by having seven catches for 66 yards against Stony Brook.  It was a career high in catches and receiving yards.

Duo With 7 Catches
Andre Dessenberg and Sam Gallahan each had seven catches against Stony Brook.  It marked the first time since November 15, 2008 that a pair of Tiger receivers had at least seven catches in a game.  That day, Casey Cegles finished with nine catches, while Marucs Lee had eight.
