TOWSON, Md. – The Towson women's tennis team hosts George Washington on Friday, Feb. 12 at 8 p.m. at the Bare Hills Racquet and Fitness Club.
 
The Tigers dropped a close 5-2 decision to Georgetown on Tuesday afternoon. Sophomore Lucy Williams had an impressive day, combining with freshman Lucy Gloninger for the Tigers' only singles win. Williams also earned a singles victory in the number one spot.
 
George Washington opened its spring season with a pair of wins. The Colonials defeated Howard on Jan. 29 and UMBC on Feb. 5. Sophomore Teodora Radosavljevic earned a No. 111 ITA national singles ranking this week after defeating the then No. 105 Maria Siopacha from UMBC.
 
Towson welcomes Mount St. Mary's to the Bare Hills Racquet and Fitness Club on Feb. 19 at 9:30 p.m.
