TOWSON, Md. – The Towson women's tennis program welcomes Mount St. Mary's to the Bare Hills Racquet and Fitness Center for a dual match on Friday, Feb. 19. Action will begin with doubles at 8 p.m. followed by singles matches at 9:45 p.m.

The Tigers (4-3) are coming off a thrilling 4-3 victory over George Washington last Friday. After winning the doubles point, Towson used three singles victories to earn the win over the Colonials. Freshman
Lucy Gloninger posted a three-set rally to decide the victory for the Tigers.

Barbora Vasilkova earned her first Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Singles Player of the Week award on Wednesday. Vasilkova rallied for two three-set victories on the week, including a 1-6, 6-0, 6-3 win over George Washington's Lana Robins at No. 2 singles. She also fought off five match points to defeat Georgetown's
Sophie Barnard 3-6, 7-5, 12-10 at No. 3 singles last Tuesday.

Mount St. Mary's (2-2) dropped its spring season opener to George Mason 7-0 at the end of January. Junior
Erin Benefiel leads the Mount with six singles victories this season. Benefiel has also combined with fellow junior
Kelly Smith for a team-best five doubles wins.

Towson closes out the month of February with a dual match at Navy on Sunday, Feb. 28 at 10 a.m.
