Brook Miko gave Towson a 4-2 win to remember over Seton Hall by slamming a one-out walkoff home run. Miko's blast helped Towson enjoy a perfect Friday at the Kickin' Chicken Classic hosted by Coastal Carolina.
How It Happened- Junior Holiday Cahill began the bottom of the seventh inning with a single, setting the stage for Miko's heroics.
- Two batters later, Miko hit Towson's second walkoff home run of the season.
- Speedy Dylan Jarvis crossed the plate on Miko's homer. She pinch-ran for Cahill.
- A perfect name for a pitcher, freshman Blakely Thrower tossed four scoreless innings to earn her first collegiate victory.
- Thrower also struck out four batters and didn't face more than four batters in any inning.
- Towson rallied from a 2-0 deficit as Seton Hall scored single runs in the second and third innings.
- Towson had 60 percent of its hits in a two-run fourth inning that tied the game 2-2.
- Shelby Stracher's RBI double scored Kendyl Scott, who had a one-out bunt single.
- Scott was the first base runner for Towson as Seton Hall pitcher Strunk retired the first 10 Tigers.
- Daria Edward's two-out RBI single scored Stracher with the tying run.
