BALTIMORE, Md. – The Towson women's tennis program earned a clean sheet victory over Mount St, Mary's on Friday evening. The Tigers defeated the Mount 7-0 to improve to 5-2 on the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED (DOUBLES)

• The Tigers won the doubles point, sweeping all three doubles matches.
• The No. 1 doubles team of Lucy Williams and Lucy Gloninger earned a 6-2 win over Kelly Smith and Erin Benefiel.
• A.J. Gomer and Renate van Oorschodt posted a 6-1 win over Brittany Poje and Sruthi Kamprath at No. 2 doubles.
• The pairing of Sophie Lesage and Yevgeniya Shusterman wrapped up doubles action, defeating Isabella Draper and Emma Blake 6-1 at No. 3 doubles.

 
HOW IT HAPPENED (SINGLES)

• Barbora Vasilkova led the Tiger effort in singles play, posting a 6-3, 6-2 win over Kelly Smith at No. 1 singles.
• Lesage continued with a 6-4, 6-2 win at No. 2 singles against Brittany Poje.
• Gomer topped Kamprath 6-3,6-1 at No. 3 singles.
• van Oorschodt posted a 6-2, 6-3 victory at No. 4 singles, defeating Benefiel.
• At No. 5 singles, Gloninger earned a 6-1, 6-0 decision over Blake.
• In the final singles match, Shusterman earned a 6-0, 6-1 win against Draper.
