QuotableTowson head coach Pat Skerry On the season and the experience of participating in the Vegas 16 Tournament"We rebounded from a disappointing year to have a good year. Obviously, the NCAA Tournament is everyone's goal. For us from where we were a few years ago, the program's on pretty good ground and we have everyone returning which is exciting. We would have liked to play better tonight, but we're looking forward to the future. This was a great tournament and it was a first-class event. We were excited to be a part of it."
Towson sophomore guard Mike MorsellOn what it meant to compete in the Vegas 16 Tournament. With many of our core guys returning next season, I think this tournament helped us grow as a group. We have bigger goals and I believe everybody is locked in to do more next season."
On the difference in the final 10 minutes of the first half."I think we started taking bad shots and got away from who we were which was attacking the rim and getting rebounds. I felt that we started settling for jump shots and didn't get back on defense. I am proud that we didn't quit in the second half. We played hard and made them work for everything. We're never going to quit and keep fighting."
