WILMINGTON, N.C. – Freshman Richie Palacios drove in a pair of runs, including his fourth home run of the season, in Towson's 11-4 loss to UNCW Sunday afternoon in the series finale.
 
How It Happened

• The Tigers (14-27, 5-7 CAA) jumped out to an early lead as Colin Gimblet singled through the left side and went to third on a Brady Policelli double to right center.  Chris Henze drove in Gimblet with a single to right field before A.J. Gallo plated Policelli with a fielder's choice.
• The Seahawks (27-9, 8-2 CAA) got a run back in the second on a Nick Feight home run, before a wild pitch tied the game in the fourth.
• UNCW broke the game open with a five-run fifth inning, then added four more runs in the sixth.
• Towson got back on the board in the seventh after an error and two hit batters loaded the bases.  Palacios drew a walk to score a run.
• Palacios added his second RBI of the day with a solo home run to right field, his fourth of the season.
• David Marriggi (1-4) took the loss after giving up seven runs on seven hits over 4.2 innings.
• Cory Gantz (3-0) allowed two runs on three hits over six innings to pick up the victory.
