NEWARK, Del. – The Towson University women's swimming and diving program earned a 179-118 victory over the University of Delaware in a dual meet on Saturday afternoon. The Tigers won 12 and had 40 top-five finishes in the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) matchup.
 
How it Happened

• Towson opened the meet with a win in the 200-yard medley relay as Jacy Icard, Kalyn Fetter, Tara Goss and Ryan Ulrich timed 1:46.67. The relay team of Kendall Krumenacker, Amanda Rosa, Olivia Evans and Melissa Toy combined for a third-place finish (1:48.85).
• Corie Morton timed 10:21.74 in the 1,000-yard freestyle for the first-place finish. Danielle Clark finished third with a time of 10:27.25.
• Meghan Jones placed fourth in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:56.38. Caitlin Manthe followed in fifth-place (1:58.94).
• Olivia Evans was the runner-up in the 100-yard backstroke, timing 59.33. Haley Sutton placed fifth in the event with a time of 1:01.58.
• Kalyn Fetter won the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:07.84. Jacalyn Schoening timed 1:08.32 to finish third.
• Ashley Illenye timed a season-best 2:06.04 for the first-place finish in the 200-yard butterfly, followed by Kendall Krumenacker (2:10.93) in fourth-place.
• Jacy Icard won the 50-yard freestyle in 24:59 while Melissa Toy was the runner-up (24.73).
• Towson swept the top four spots on the three-meter diving boards. Emily Wilson (268.12) won the event, followed by Victoria Zozzaro (252.30). Ali Profeta placed third with a season-best 223.65 and Emily Torres (214.50) finished fourth.
• Towson had three top five finishers in the 100-yard freestyle. Melissa Toy won in 53.12 and Annemarie Schnoor took second, timing 53.83. Caitlin Manthe finished fifth with a time of 54.33.
• Jacy Icard won the 200-yard backstroke in 2:05.08. Meghan Jones was the runner-up in 2:06.36 and Haley Sutton placed fifth (2:14.17).
• Amanda Rosa won the 200-yard breaststroke in 2:26.75. Jacalyn Schoening timed 2:28.26 for the third-place finish.
• Sarah-Margaret Locke was the runner-up in the 500-yard freestyle, timing 5:03.88. Danielle Clark finished third in 5:08.99.
• Maddi Mangum finished third in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 58.54. Tara Goss timed 58.61 to follow in fourth-place.
• Towson swept the top four spots on the one-meter diving boards. Emily Wilson (276.67) won the event, followed by Victoria Zozzaro (236.70). Ali Profeta (220.57) placed third and Emily Torres (193.65) finished fourth.
• Corie Morton won the 200-yard individual medley in a season-best 2:09.28. Sarah-Margaret Locke took fourth-place in 2:12.01.
• The 400-yard freestyle relay team of Melissa Toy, Annemarie Schnoor, Kendall Krumenacker and Caitlin Manthe finished second (3:34.11). The relay team of Jacy Icard, Meghan Jones, Danielle Clark and Corie Morton finished third (3:37.93).

Towson concludes the regular season when the swimmers travel to the three-day Nike Invitational, hosted by the University of North Carolina, from Feb. 3-5. The Tiger divers will travel to the JMU Diving Invitational, hosted by James Madison University, on Feb. 4.
