Tigers Open the 2017-18 Season at Georgetown on Saturday

TOWSON, Md. - The Towson University women's swimming and diving teams officially open the season on Saturday when the Tigers travel to Georgetown for a dual meet inside McCarthy Pool beginning at 1 p.m.

A year ago, the Tigers finished third at the CAA Women's Swimming Championship. The Tigers return three All-CAA selections, including senior Jacy Icard (100 back, 200 back), senior Kendall Krumenacker (200 IM, 800 free relay) and sophomore Sarah-Margaret Locke (800 free relay).

A year ago, the Tigers posted a 158-142 dual meet victory over Georgetown at home. They won seven events and posted 29 top-3 finishes. Junior Emily Wilson also won the one and three-meter diving events.

The Hoyas opened the season with a 186-114 victory over Delaware at home on October 1.
