TOWSON, Md.
– Now the fun begins for the Towson University men's basketball team as it begins a lengthy stay at home with its first meeting against Drexel this season in a Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) contest.

With the calendar having flipped to February and the halfway point of the conference schedule behind everybody, the Tigers are in a perfect position to make a move toward the top of the CAA standings.

The Tigers start a season best three-game homestand and a stretch where they are playing five of their next six games in the friendly confines of SECU Arena. Towson has been pretty solid at home lately, winning five straight and averaging 80 points in those victories. Overall, the Tigers are 7-3 at home.

Sitting in sixth place in the CAA standings with a 5-5 record, this three week stretch offers Towson an opportunity to make up more ground and erase the tough opening week of the conference season in which Towson lost four straight games. Since the loss to Elon, Towson has won five of its last six games.
