Towson's Offense Erupts In Victory Over Colgate

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – It was only a matter of time before the Towson University softball team found its groove and flexed its offensive muscle.

Freshman Maddie Wilson highlighted Towson's 15-hit barrage by slamming a pair of home runs to lead the Tigers to a 9-2 victory over Colgate in the USC Upstate/Furman Classic at Cyrill Stadium Saturday afternoon.

Wilson and Olivia Baltazar had three hits each to lead Towson's offensive charge.

After seeing a pitcher for the second time, our offense lit uo and we were able to keep moving runners and getting hits."
