NEWARK, Del. – The Towson University softball team dropped a pair of tough Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) games to rival Delaware Saturday afternoon. The Tigers lost the opener, 5-4, in extra innings and then fell in the nightcap, 4-0.

How It Happened Game 1
- Madison Wilson paced the Tigers' offense with three hits.
- Three of Towson's seven hits were doubles.
- Delaware earned the win after Mariah Kondravy's two-out RBI single scored Mattie Nuccio in the bottom of the eighth inning.

- The Tigers forced extra innings when Shelby Stracher's sacrifice fly scored Daria Edwards in the seventh inning with the tying run.
