FAIRFAX, Va. –
Olivia Baltazar and
Julia Smith-Harrington delivered clutch performances at the perfect time to help the Towson University softball team beat George Mason, 3-1, and earn a split of the non-conference doubleheader at GMU Softball Complex Wednesday afternoon.
After dropping the opening game, 6-5, Towson needed the lift that Baltazar and Smith-Harrington provided to make the bus ride back to campus a little more enjoyable.

Hitting Stars
- Baltazar had three hits over the two games and drove in four runs to lead Towson. She hit .500 on the afternoon.

- George Mason scored four two-out runs in the bottom of the sixth innings to rally from a 5-2 deficit.
