Edwards And Miko Homer Against Drexel

TOWSON, Md. – The math still says the Towson University softball team has a pulse after dropping a pair of games to Drexel in Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) action at the Tiger Softball Stadium Friday afternoon.

The Tigers' margin of error was reduced significantly after falling to the Dragons, 9-8 and 3-0. Towson has seven CAA games remaining beginning with Saturday's series finale against Drexel, which entered the day with a seven-game conference losing streak.

The Tigers figured they needed 10 CAA wins to give themselves an opportunity to be in the mix for a postseason spot. That is still attainable and now the Tigers know what they need to do moving forward. Until the equation becomes unbalanced, the Tigers still have meaningful games remaining as anything can still happen in the race for one of the five CAA tournament spots.
