TOWSON, Md. – In the final polls before the postseason begins, the Towson University football team stands in the top-20 in each national poll.
 
Towson comes in at No. 16 in the STATS FCS Poll and No. 19 in the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Coaches Poll.
 
Towson has been in the STATS poll the last nine weeks and the coaches poll the previous eight.  It is also the seventh consecutive week where Towson is in the top-20 of each poll.
 
The Tigers earned at at-large bid into the 2018 NCAA Playoffs, their first postseason appearance since 2013.  Towson is 7-4 overall and finished tied for third in the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) at 5-3.
 
The CAA finished with six ranked teams, the most of any FCS conference.
