Men's Basketball Nipped by JMU in Home Finale

TOWSON, Md. – Four players scored in double figures for the Towson University men's basketball team during its 69-66 loss to James Madison in a Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) game at SECU Arena Saturday night.
 
Towson had two chances to force overtime in the final seven seconds, but both shots were unsuccessful.
 
Zane Martin led Towson by scoring 13 of his game-high 21 points in the second half. Also reaching double digits for the Tigers were Eddie Keith II (12 points), Jordan McNeil (11), and Mike Morsell (10). Justin Gorham's 12 rebounds helped the Tigers win the board battle, 39-33.
 
In ending a seven-game road losing streak, James Madison got 19 points from Stuckey Mosley and 16 points from Matt Lewis. Greg Jones, who scored nine points off the bench, gave the Dukes the lead for good, 64-62 with a pair of foul shots with 2 minutes, 34 seconds remaining.
