BOSTON, Mass. –
Justin Gorham posted his third double-double of the season during Towson's 80-75 setback against Northeastern in a Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) men's basketball game at Matthews Arena Thursday night.
Gorham scored a career best 28 points and added 12 rebounds for the Tigers. He was one of four Towson players to finish in double digits. This was Gorham's third outing of at least 20 points this season.
Mike Morsell scored 12 points to move past Ralph Blalock and into seventh place on the all-time Towson University scoring chart. Morsell has 1,499 career points.
Zane Martin and
Eddie Keith II finished with 11 points each for the Tigers.
Northeastern won its sixth consecutive game behind Shawn Occeus (24 points) and Vasa Pusica (17 points, seven assists).
