GREENVILLE, N.C. –
Nicole Stockinger and
Kendyl Scott had three hits each to lead the Towson University softball team to a 13-2 victory over UMBC in the Pirate Clash at the East Carolina Softball Stadium Saturday afternoon.
They also drove in three runs each as Towson concluded a perfect day. Stockinger's three-run home run was the centerpiece of the Tigers' six-run fourth inning that broke the game open.

- Towson scored the final 10 runs of the contest over the last two innings to beat UMBC for a seventh straight time.
- The Tigers finished with 13 hits, the fifth time this season they had double digit hits.

- Kendall Arcia scored three runs.
- Arcia had a RBI single during Towson's three-run second inning.
