Towson's Rally Falls Short At ECU

GREENVILLE, N.C.Brook Miko, Madison Wilson, and Daria Edwards led the Towson University softball team during its 4-3 loss to East Carolina in the final game of the Pirate Clash Sunday afternoon.

Despite the setback – Towson's second one-run loss to ECU by the exact score – the Tigers still enjoyed a good weekend, winning three of five games.

Miko hit her third home run of the season in the sixth inning. Wilson extended her hitting streak to 11 games dating back to last season with a RBI single in the seventh inning. Edwards reached base three times and became the 16th player in Towson softball history to score her 100th career run. Edwards extended her hitting streak to seven.

All three players have reached base safely in every Towson game this season.
