CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Nicole Stockinger and 
Madison Wilson combined for six hits and the Towson University softball team cruised to an 8-4 victory over Oakland in the 49er Classic Friday morning at Daughtridge Stadium on the Charlotte campus.
 
In raising its record to 7-0 on neutral fields this season, Towson pounded out 13 hits. Stockinger and Wilson had three hits each. This was Wilson's fourth three-hit game of the season. For Stockinger, who hit a solo home run, this was her third game this season with three hits.

How It Happened
	- Kendyl Scott and Brook Miko added two hits each for Towson.
 
	- This was the sixth time this season Towson has finished with double-digit hits.
 
	- It's the fourth time in the last five games that Towson has had at least 10 hits.

	- Batting ninth, Stockinger finished a triple shy of the cycle

	- After Oakland cut Towson's lead to 5-1, the Tigers scored three runs in the sixth inning.
 
	- In addition to Stockinger's solo shot down the rightfield line, RBI singles by Brook Miko and Shelby Stracher highlighted the Tigers sixth inning.
