STONY BROOK, N.Y. - Towson University women's lacrosse senior
Emily Gillingham scored three goals, including the 100th of her career, but the team was limited by a season-high 22 turnovers as the No. 14 Tigers fell on the road to No. 1 Stony Brook Saturday evening at LaValle Stadium, 13-8.
Towson (5-2) faced its largest deficit of the season at five goals in the first half, but used a 6-1 run over the final four minutes of the first half and the first 17 minutes of the second half to tie the game at 7-7 on Gillingham's third goal of the game with 13:25 remaining. The two teams traded goals over the next two minutes before Kylie Ohlmiller broke the game's second tie of the game at 8-8 with the fourth of her seven goals.
The Seawolves (7-0) scored the game's final five goals over the last 10:31 to extend their home winning streak to 24 games.

Kaitlyn Montalbano each totaled four points with Montalbano adding two goals and two assists. Sophomore
Kiley Keating made eight saves, two shy of her career high.
