TOWSON, Md. - The Towson University women's tennis team returns to action on Monday for the beginning of a four-match road trip in Orlando, Florida over Spring Break. The first match is set for
4 p.m., against Denison inside the USTA National Campus Tennis Club.
Towson (3-5) has been idle since a loss to CAA rival James Madison at the Coppermine Racquet and Fitness Center on March 2. Senior
Renate Van Oorschodt earned the lone point for the Tigers in a third set tiebreaker at No. 5 singles.
Three of the four matches this week will mark the first-ever meeting between the Tigers and their opponent. Towson will square off against Denison, Keiser (Tuesday) and Hamilton (Thursday) for the first time.
On Wednesday, the Tigers will face CAA rival Hofstra beginning at
9 a.m. Fans can watch that match live
here. Last year, Towson posted a 6-1 victory over The Pride, sweeping all six singles matches after losing two of the three doubles flights as Hofstra took a 1-0 lead. The Tigers' lone doubles win came at No. 3 where
