- The Tigers (3-17, 0-2 CAA) got on the board in the eighth inning as Trey Martinez beat out an infield single down the third-base line.
- Billy Lennox followed with a double to straight-away center that scored pinch runner Craig Alleyne from first base. Towson was unable to push across another run in the frame.
- Richie Palacios led the way by going 2-for-3 with an intentional walk and a stolen base.
- Martinez collected two hits, including a double to straight-away center.
