TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University softball team beat UNCW 1-0 in a Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) game at the Tiger Softball Stadium Sunday.

How It Happened
- Megan Dejter allowed one hit in throwing her seventh career shutout.
- Dejter improved her season record to 19-4 after recording a season best eight strikeouts.
- Dejter retired UNCW's first 10 batters.
- Madison Wilson collected her 60th hit of the season with a two-out RBI single in the fifth inning that scored Jaclyn Mounie.
- Mounie was running for Kaylen Minnatee, who was hit by a pitch leading off the inning.
- Minnatee reached base in both of her plate appearances. She singled in the third for the Tigers first hit of the contest.

- Towson tied the program record for most regular season victories.
- This is the fifth time in program history a Towson team has won at least 36 games (2002, 2005, 2008, 2016 & 2018).
- The Tigers also became the first team in program history to win 20 home games in a single season.

- The 10 straight wins over CAA opponents matches Towson's longest streak since 2013.
